Role of governance in improving the institutional performance of the Central Bank of Yemen

Abstract

The study aims to know the role of governance in improving the institutional performance of the Central Bank of Yemen, and to achieve this goal the study used the descriptive, analytical and sub -curriculum tool to collect data from the study community. It is represented by all employees of the main Yemeni central bank in the temporary capital of Aden and in its branches in Governorates (Taiz, Sayyun, Mukalla, Al -Mahra, Marib). A survey sample consisting of (162) was taken An employee distributed the causes to all of them, and (153) questionnaires were recovered by statistical analysis to address Data and testing hypotheses using appropriate statistical statistical methods and inference methods using SCM structural equations analysis through the 24.smartplas 3 programs, SPSS. The study reached a number of results, most notably, that there is an application of the principles of governance in the Yemeni central bank at a high level and in the following order (accountability and scrutiny, integrity and justice, disclosure and transparency, participation), The bank’s employees' attitudes also showed a high level of factors to improve the institutional performance of the bank and in the following order For dimensions (clients, growth and knowledge, internal operations).
