About the Journal

The Journal of Administrative and Economic Sciences is a peer-reviewed, semiannual scientific journal published by the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Taiz University, Republic of Yemen. It seeks to publish innovative and original research in administrative and economic sciences, including management, economics, marketing, tourism, accounting, finance and banking, data science and information technology, and statistics. The journal also welcomes applied and field studies that satisfy the requirements of rigorous scientific research and conform to international standards. In addition, it publishes abstracts of distinguished, formally approved master's theses and doctoral dissertations in relevant fields, as well as proceedings of conferences and symposia held within and outside Yemen. Articles are published in Arabic and English, in both electronic and print formats. The journal operates on an open-access basis, enabling its content to be read and downloaded freely. When appropriate, the journal may publish a special issue devoted entirely to a single theme.

Objectives

  1. Encourage researchers to publish their scientific work locally, regionally, and internationally.
  2. Contribute to the development and dissemination of original scientific knowledge.
  3. Enable researchers to acquire research, intellectual, and professional skills throughout their academic and research careers.
  4. Link scientific research to community service and contribute to addressing societal issues and problems on sound scientific foundations.
  5. Build bridges of communication within and beyond the university with universities, companies, organizations, and local and international conferences.
  6. Attain a high impact factor locally and regionally and become an effective venue for publishing original research.
