The researcher explored the reality of women's economic empowerment during the period from 2020 to 2024, along with the challenges they face.
Recognizing that women represent more than half of the human workforce in sustainable development at both rural and urban levels, they are considered a crucial social capital.
The researcher employed a qualitative methodology, utilizing tools such as case studies and collecting information and data from primary sources, followed by analysis and interpretation of the results.
Among the significant findings were the delayed school enrollment for boys and girls of school age, as well as the various gender gaps that adversely affect women, including social, educational, employment, and health gaps.
The researcher concluded with several recommendations, including the necessity for effective political management to activate laws aimed at economic development, conducting studies focusing on the reality of women's economic empowerment, and offering incentives to encourage rural women to pursue education, especially higher education.
Furthermore, it is essential to enhance community awareness and improve both the rural environment and the learning and working conditions for women workers.
