Fourth: Publication Procedures
1. Manuscripts shall be submitted through the journal website or sent to the journal's email address. All correspondence shall be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief.
- The Editorial Secretary receives manuscripts and records their dates of receipt, then submits them to the Editorial Board for preliminary screening and determination of their suitability for peer review. Eligible manuscripts are sent confidentially to two reviewers with relevant specialization and expertise, using the journal's evaluation form.
- If one reviewer recommends rejection and the other recommends acceptance, the manuscript is referred to a third reviewer, whose assessment serves as the deciding review.
- When reviewers recommend acceptance subject to revisions, the manuscript is returned to the author to address all comments and required amendments. Upon resubmission, the Managing Editor reviews the revised manuscript and returns it to the reviewers to verify that the revisions have been satisfactorily completed.
- An acceptance letter is issued after all required revisions have been completed and the review and publication fees have been paid.
- If the Editorial Board or the reviewers reject a manuscript, the author is notified of the decision and the reasons for rejection.
- If a review report is not received by the specified deadline, the Editorial Secretary submits the matter to the Editorial Board to decide whether to follow up with or replace the reviewer.
- Each published article must clearly state the date of receipt and the date of publication.
- Once manuscripts are ready for publication, they are sent for formatting and language editing in Arabic or English, as applicable, together with any accompanying notes.
- After final formatting, but before pagination and compilation of the issue, proofs are sent to authors for review, completion of any missing information, and submission of final comments.
- The language editor and Editorial Secretary review all articles in the issue to ensure that they are free from errors before the issue is approved by the Editor-in-Chief.
- Articles are paginated, separate electronic offprints are prepared for each author, and the full issue is compiled electronically. The issue is then uploaded simultaneously to the journal and university websites. Each author receives the final electronic article and full issue, after which the issue is sent for print publication.
